Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has successfully undergone surgery for a sports hernia in Munich, Germany. The 34-year-old cricketer is now in the recovery phase, eager to return to the field. His last appearance for India was in the T20I series against England in February.

Suryakumar Yadav confirmed the details of his surgery through a social media post, stating that he underwent the procedure for a sports hernia in his lower right abdomen. The surgery follows Suryakumar Yadav's impressive performance in the recent Indian Premier League (IPL), where he displayed exceptional batting prowess for the Mumbai Indians.
