David Beckham is currently recovering in hospital following surgery to address a longstanding wrist injury. His wife, Victoria Beckham, shared a personal glimpse into his recovery process with fans.
On Friday, the former Spice Girl posted a photo on her Instagram Stories showing the football legend, 50, in a hospital bed, wearing a gown and with his arm supported by a blue sling.
Victoria captioned the photo with "Get well soon daddy" accompanied by a heart emoji, demonstrating her support for her husband. The injury dates back to 2003 when David Beckham sustained it during a match for England.
Details surrounding the medical procedure remain undisclosed; however, the issue appears to be connected to the wrist problem that has persisted since his professional playing career. Despite the obvious discomfort, Beckham seemed to be in good spirits, offering a gentle smile to the camera as he recovered from the operation.
Victoria also posted another heartwarming image of David holding a friendship bracelet, adorned with colorful beads spelling out "Get well soon," presumably a thoughtful gift from one of their children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, or Harper.
The hospital visit follows the recent announcement that Beckham will be knighted by King Charles, officially becoming “Sir David Beckham.” Victoria celebrated the news on Instagram, expressing her pride by writing, "You’ve always been my knight in shining armour, but now it’s official."
The couple also recently commemorated Father's Day, with Victoria sharing throwback photos and videos of David with their children, referring to him as "the best daddy there is."
Married since 1999, David and Victoria Beckham continue to exemplify the importance of family in their lives, even during unexpected hospital visits.
