Arshdeep Singh Reveals Hilarious Wrestling Sessions with Bowling Coach Morne Morkel
A video recently surfaced showing Indian pacers Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep engaging in wrestling matches with bowling coach Morne Morkel during a net session in Birmingham.
Neither Arshdeep nor Akash Deep featured in the playing XI during the match where India faced a five-wicket defeat.
In a video shared by the BCCI, Arshdeep Singh disclosed the story behind the playful interactions that captured the attention of fans.
Arshdeep explained, "Morne said that as soon as our practice session concludes, he will execute a final move and pin me, signaling the end of practice." He humorously added, "He has discovered a novel approach to conclude the day, and he was demonstrating it to us."
The Indian team is currently trailing 0-1 in the five-match series after their defeat. They lost the first Test by five wickets after England successfully chased down a target of 371 runs on the final day.
There is speculation surrounding Jasprit Bumrah's participation in the series due to workload management.
