Jackie Shroff, a well-known figure in Bollywood, is celebrated for his charismatic personality. However, a past incident involving actress Tabu resurfaced, drawing attention to allegations of inappropriate behavior.
Reports from The Orissa Post detail an event where Jackie Shroff allegedly attempted to kiss Tabu, who was only 14 years old at the time. Tabu had accompanied her sister, actress Farah Naaz, to Mauritius, where Farah was filming "Diljalaa" with Jackie Shroff.
During their stay, Danny Denzongpa hosted a party for the cast and crew. It was reported that Jackie Shroff, allegedly intoxicated, made an unwanted advance towards Tabu. Sources claim that Tabu resisted, and Danny Denzongpa intervened.
Farah Naaz initially spoke out against Jackie Shroff, accusing him of inappropriate behavior. However, she later retracted her statement, describing the situation as a "misunderstanding." Tabu has never publicly addressed the incident and has not worked with Jackie Shroff since.
Tabu, born Tabassum Fatima Hashmi, began her career in "Bazaar" at age 11. She gained prominence through films like "Hum Naujawan," "Vijaypath," "Maachis," "Chandni Bar," "Haider," and "Maqbool." She has won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performances in "Maachis" and "Chandni Bar." Recently, she starred in "Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha" with Ajay Devgn and is slated for a role in "Bahoot Bangla."
Jackie Shroff was last seen in "Housefull 5".
